Current stage: free early-access prototype. No paid subscription, active checkout, or payment collection.

Using the service

Use the service for business documents you are authorized to process. Protect your account password and recovery codes. Do not attempt to access another account, evade service limits, upload malicious files, or use the service for unlawful activity. This product is intended for adult business users.

Your content and decisions

You retain responsibility for your uploaded documents and the permissions needed to use them. The service processes that content to provide the workflow you request. A matching source excerpt proves only that the text occurs in the selected document. It does not independently verify a company's capability, certification, or real-world result.

You decide which requirements to accept, what to exclude, how to estimate hours and rates, and whether a requested change is agreed. A baseline records your saved scope; it is not an electronic signature or a finding that a contract is legally binding. BriefTether does not provide legal advice, procurement eligibility decisions, automated market pricing, or guaranteed delivery dates.

AI connection

AI extraction is optional. You choose Google Gemini or Anthropic Claude in settings, select documents, and consent to the actual destination before a request. Each provider uses its separately saved credential. Charges and quota limits follow the selected provider's account and terms; the cost estimate is approximate. Drafts can omit requirements or misinterpret context and need review before saving or sharing.

Unpaid Gemini requests require confirmation of public, nonpersonal, nonconfidential content and permitted regional use. Review the privacy notice and Google terms. API errors do not trigger automatic retries, paid fallbacks, fabricated answers, or an undisclosed provider switch.

One local Gemini request on a public fictional brief was checked. This does not establish general extraction quality. Cloud Gemini inference awaits the operator's initial setup, and live Claude behavior remains untested. Gemini output is identified as Gemini output.

Early access availability

Early access is provided without a service subscription charge. The product may change and may be unavailable while the operator maintains it. No uptime guarantee, customer outcome, security certification, or support-response deadline is offered. Export important records and keep the source documents you need.

Any future paid service requires its own published price, operator details, payment configuration, refund rules, and accepted terms. Suggested future pricing does not create a current purchase or payment obligation.

Export and account closure

You can export your workspace and delete your account in account settings. Active records and the saved API key are removed when deletion completes. Previously downloaded files, external API data, and any operator backup copies follow their separate handling. See the privacy notice for those limits.

Operator details

The service is published at brieftether.com and its incoming contact is jaypark@brieftether.com. First setup is restricted to the invited operator, who must choose their own password and provide real legal identity details. No legal company name or postal address is invented. Domain registration and cloud deployment are complete; incorporation, payment approval, and Claude Startups approval are not claimed.
